Refund: The following situations guarantee parents a full refund, regardless of class-specific refund policies. Please contact us at https://www.meeko.world/help if you need additional help with a refund for any of these reasons:
1. When a parent withdraws from a class of any type within 24 hours of purchase, they receive a full refund.
2. If a parent cancels their auto-renewing subscription within 24 hours after it is set up, they have the option to receive a full refund. Note that the 24-hour refund window only applies until the class’s start time.
3. Parents receive a full refund if the teacher cancels in advance of the class’s first meeting time.
If a teacher misses a one-time class meeting, parents may request a full refund.
If a teacher changes the date or time of a class meeting before the class’s start date, parents may request a full refund.
Parents must request a refund within 48 hours after the class took place for claiming a refund.
You will receive the refund in the same account from which you made the payment in the first place. For example, if you paid with Card 'A'. You then added Card 'B' to the platform. Now you request a refund, so the payment will be received only in Card 'A'. On any refund the existing foreign exchange rates are applicable.
The following situations guarantee parents a prorated refund based on the number of live meetings in your class’s section. These policies apply outside of class-specific refund policies and should go through our Support Team at https://www.meeko.world/help :
1. If part of a class is rescheduled, you will receive, upon request, a prorated refund based on the number of meetings that were rescheduled and that you did not attend. However, you won’t be eligible for a refund if you have exceeded more than 2 sessions of a class.
2. If the teacher doesn’t teach the number of meetings listed, you will receive a prorated refund upon request.
3. If the teacher cancels a class in progress, you will receive a prorated refund based on the percentage of meetings you paid for that were canceled.
Let's say, for example, you booked a class that is INR 600 for 6 sessions. Following two sessions, you decide you don't want to continue the class so you request a refund. If your request is deemed valid, Meeko will process the refund. As there are four sessions remaining, you are eligible to receive a refund of INR 400 for the remaining sessions. On any refund the existing foreign exchange rates are applicable.
1. If your learner misses a class meeting, you are not entitled to a refund.
2. If you miss 3 consecutive class meetings without communicating with the teacher, you forfeit the class fee and the teacher may cancel the class. Your teacher may provide a class recording, at their decision.
3. If your learner has not joined the meeting 15 minutes after the class’s start time, the meeting may be canceled, at the teacher’s discretion.
4. This is considered a missed meeting and you are not entitled to a refund.
5. If due to technical difficulties you were not able to attend the class you can request a video of the class.
Refunds can only be issued to the original form of payment used for your purchase on Meeko, and they cannot be issued to a different card. In the case that the original card is closed or no longer active for any reason, you may need to contact your bank or credit card company to retrieve the funds. In select cases, you may not be able to retrieve your refund, but we will offer you a gift card or apply a credit to your Meeko account instead. Our team will provide you with specific guidance in these cases.
On any refund involving foreign exchange the existing foreign exchange rates would apply.
Note that in the rare case a parent requests an excessive number of refunds, they may be disqualified from receiving future refunds.

23.1.2 Ask questions of teachers to clarify any missing details about classes
23.1.3 Show up for your class; many classes depend on group conversation, and the absence of a single student can have a big impact

23.2.2 Be safe: Keep your personal information private and never ask other learners for theirs (e.g., email address, mailing address, phone number, gamer tags, etc.).
23.2.3 Be respectful: treat others how you want to be treated.
23.3.1 We welcome members from all backgrounds, beliefs, and locations and are committed to creating a safe space for our users across all pillars of diversity.
